Tarkett Group and Aspen Yapi ve Zemin to join forces in Turkey
Tarkett and AspenYapi ve Zemin, the leading distributor in the Turkish flooring industry, announced today the creation of a joint venture to distribute and sell Tarkett flooring products throughout Turkey.
With7 branch offices nation-wide and a total of 150 dealers, Aspen is the leading flooring distributor in Turkey and brings Tarkett the opportunity to substantially develop its business in this strategically important market. (With currently 74 million inhabitants, Turkey’s population is estimated to grow at a 1.5% annual rate, totalling 90 million people in 2030.)
Aspen has been promoting and selling Tarkett flooring and sports surface products in Turkey for the past 15 years. The newly founded joint venture will therefore focus Aspen’s local experience of more than 20 years onto such market segments like health, education, housing and sports – key strategic business fields, where Tarkett holds a globally leading position with its innovative product ranges, designed to offer fully integrated flooring solutions. The newly created enterprise will be called Tarkett Aspen Zemin Kaplamaları A.S. and will be located in Istanbul.
